StarTalk Live! gets its DNA from StarTalk Radio, the iTunes chart-topping, award winning podcast and radio program from Curved Light Productions. Each week astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, his comic co-hosts, guest celebrities and scientists bridge the intersection between pop culture and science with clarity, humor and passion, covering captivating subjects like space travel, human intelligence, sex, extra-terrestrial life, the Big Bang, the future of our Earth and the environment. StarTalk Radio is hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson. As Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History, Tyson makes regular appearances on major news programs and popular shows ("Late Night," "The Daily Show," "The Colbert Report"). Recently Tyson served as Executive Editor and on camera Host & Narrator for "Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey," the Emmy-winning, 21st century reboot of Carl Sagan's landmark television series. He has also previously hosted both "NOVA Science NOW" and the NOVA miniseries "Origins." In February 2012, Tyson released his tenth book: "Space Chronicles: Facing the Ultimate Frontier." Tyson was voted "Sexiest Astrophysicist Alive" by People Magazine in 2000 and Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Persons in the World for 2007.
