Returning for its fifth year, Acker & Blacker’s The Thrilling Adventure and Supernatural Suspense Hour is a staged comedy production in the style of an old-time radio show that proves radio is still the king of all media! A sophisticated comedy sprinkled with affectionate homage to 1940’s era radio, the Thrilling Adventure… program features three non-serialized serials in each episode, as well as jingles and messages from sponsors such as Patriot Brand Cigarettes (“Good for your Constitution”).

Since 2005, Ben Acker and Ben Blacker have been writing and producing a new show each month and the crowds consist not only of Hollywood denizens seeking a unique evening of comedy, but also loyal fans who return month after month to follow their favorite characters. This San Francisco iteration features two shows with the regular cast of Work Juice Players: Paul F. Tompkins, Paget Brewster, Busy Philipps, Craig Cackowski, Mark Gagliardi, Marc Evan Jackson, Hal Lublin, Annie Savage and special guests Scott Adsit, Scott Aukerman, John Hodgman, Melanie Lynskey, Jason Ritter and more! $40 All Ages
